The Little Styx River Cabins and Yaraandoo Eco-Lodge are ideal accommodation options for bushwalking getaways or fly-fishing. These are right next to some of the best trout fishing waters in Australia. There are also a wide diversity of walks in the six neighbouring National Parks – New England National Park, Cathedral Rocks National Park, Guy Fawkes National Park, Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, Cunnawarra National Park and Dorrigo National Park.
These are all within a half hour drive. The nearest is the World Heritage listed New England National Park, which has over 20 kilometres of graded walking tracks through splendid beech forest and sweeping vistas of the eastern escarpment.
The Little Styx River Cabins reflect some of the history of the rugged timbered ranges, as they were the original quarters for the old Point Lookout timber mill. Known respectively as The Hilton and Possum Villa, they’re situated adjacent to the World Heritage listed New England National Park.
Yaraandoo offers state-of-the art accommodation and conference facilities in a peaceful bush setting. An earth-inspired, well-equipped facility with 19 rooms; it accommodates up to 40 people including overnight travellers, families, corporate groups and special interest groups.
